Finance Club, IIT Roorkee is a collaboration amongst the finance enthusiasts of the campus who aim to foster a permanent culture of finance in IIT Roorkee. Founded in 2020, it is one of the fastest growing societies in IITR. Its passionate members have deep interests in the fields of equity research, trading(algorithmic), economics, quant research, financial risk management and many others. To maintain a finance culture in a technical institute, they invite several guest speakers to share their views and experiences of the financial world and also conduct open lectures and workshops for the campus junta.

In its year of inception, Finance Club has organized FinFest, one of the largest finance festivals in the country, which included multiple events and workshops and saw participation from students of top Indian B-Schools.

The group seeks to guide and direct any individual who has a keen interest in finance. If you find statistics, probability, different domains of mathematics and financial markets to be interesting then this is the place for you.
