App development is an important skill in the technology industry, and the Mobile Development Group (MDG) attests this need for students of IITR. It is a group of dedicated app developers and UX enthusiasts, building utility applications and trendy games for mobile platform. This group recruits in the beginning of the second semester. They use various game engines and APIs to develop applications. The group has successfully released applications for the previous Thomso and Cognizance fests, along with some boisterous games like Ball x2 and Bubble Trouble. Their most recent application being “Appetizer” which enables the students of IITR to receive rebates on the mess meals they’ve skipped. Bestowed with a good aura, the group is perfect for noobs and nerds interested in the same.
